Scoliosis

Scoliosis is the development of a curved spine. It affects children and teenager starting from age 8 to 18 years of age. Young girls are more susceptible to the disease. Therefore, children are encouraged to be checked yearly to screen scoliosis. Severe scoliosis can impede heart and other organs’ function. Scoliosis is caused by genetics, bad posture, lack of exercise, and malnutrition.
